The man who called himself Superman lived a double life like the fictional superhero. Throughout much of his NBA career Howard was plagued by rumors of being gay, but would always deny the rumblings. Now, in a civil lawsuit being filed against him, Dwight was forced to admit to consensual sex with a man.
The bigger picture here is that Howard is being accused of sexually assaulting a man. But to defend his honor, he had to admit that the sexual encounter he had with the man was consensual. Whether it was or not, that’s to be determined in a court of law. Whatever the outcome, hopefully Dwight Howard can live his truth publicly just like he made a living on the basketball court.
